YOUTH ADVISORY BOARD

Young people- I want to be accountable to you. Every day I speak for and about you to other adults. If I'm going to have integrity in my work, I must hear from you and compensate you for sharing your insights and experience.

We meet the second Thursday of the month from 6-7pm on zoom. LGBTQ+ young people from Whatcom, Skagit, Snohomish, Island, and San Juan counties are invited to join.  My job will be to set up the space and keep us moving forward. Everything else is up to you. You set the terms and vibe, and you decide what we talk about.

If you are an LGBTQ+ young person who'd like to be part of making our region a better place for LGBTQ+ youth to grow up, I hope you'll join the Youth Advisory Board.

Some important details...

• Participation will require parent/guardian permission, let me know if you need help figuring out how to talk to your adults about this.

• I have a child safety policy that guides my work, we will use that as a starting point for creating agreements to keep us all safe.

• Stipends are $25 for each 1-hour meeting.
